CS Tool: Slow Upload Configuration for slow upload complaints
Symptoms
- Photographer selected files to upload, the upload began (aka progress bar is visible), but they are complaining of slow or not moving uploads, or
- They see the error File(s) cannot be uploaded - in the progress bar, or
- Agents see the error
blobUploadErrorin the CS Tool, when viewing the uploader info, or - Agents see the error
blobUploadCommErrorin the CS Tool, when viewing the uploader info
How to proceed:
- Search the photographer's account in the CS tool, in the Galleries tab, go to the Upload Info section, and click the View button.
- Scroll down and look for the Uploader that the photographer is having problems with. If there are multiple Uploaders listed, take note of which one because you will need to inform T2 later which one it is.
- Check for errors.
- If you see any of these errors listed [ blobUploadError ] or [blobUploadCommError ] in CS Tool next to the Uploads, jump straight to "Below 18 Mbps/Slow Config button" steps in the table below.
- If you don't see the errors, continue with the next steps below.
- Ask the photographer to quit the uploader.
- Run a network connection test (https://www.speedtest.net/) to find network upload speed. Ask for a screenshot of results (save the screenshot to send to T2).
- Check the Upload speed, and follow the steps below depending on the speed:
